I will post assignments to my website and to Teams. You will submit your assignment through Teams. These are the basic instructions for accessing your assignments.
- When you are logged into Teams, click on the class you want to view.
- Make sure you are on the General channel (circled in RED in the picture below). (This is what teachers see--it may look a little different to you.)
- At the top, there are a bunch of tabs. One of them is Assignments (circled in BLUE in the picture below). Click on Assignments.
- You will then get a screen with a list of assignments. Click on one (circled in GREEN below).
- When you click on the assignment, look over what I have posted. You may not see exactly what you see in the picture below since every assignment is different. I've highlighted a few features for you to take a look at here.
- Often, I will provide instructions for you to follow. Make sure you know what you are being asked to do.
- In the assignment below, you can see there are points assigned and there is a rubric. You can click on the rubric so you know how you will be graded.
- There are also a few resources under "Student work." For this assignment, one is an article and the other is a response sheet. These are both clickable Word Online documents. You can see that I have instructed my students to write directly on one of the documents, then they will share it with me from Word Online.
- Be sure you follow submission instructions carefully. If I specify a document for you to turn in or you have other files to attach to this assignment, select +Add work and upload your file. It's possible to work on Office files right from this screen--no need to leave the app.
- If you're turning in the assignment for the first time before the due date, select Turn in. You'll see a time and date stamp recording your turn-in.
